It's official, I'm taking a bite out of the Big Apple! With my recent acceptance to the Tribeca Summer Arts Project, I bought my plane ticket, I'm packing my bags, and soon I'll be heading to New York City for three wild weeks in the "gorgeous mosaic."
This is the true story of seven strangers, picked to live together, and have their lives taped to find out what happens when people stop being polite and start getting real!
...Wait. That's MTV's The Real World. But it's close. This summer, from June 15th to July 8th, I will be living in Long Island City, New York, with like-minded students and staff who love the arts, creating and learning how to use our gifts to best serve the community. Our focus will be on reclaiming beauty and hope, especially in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.
In the mean-time-in-between-time, I'll be raising support to fund the mission trip and my good friend Dan Hansen has planned a benefit concert to help me out. If you'd like to support in any way, big or small-- even just words of encouragement-- it would be tremendously appreciated. I'm looking forward to seeing the possibilities of this new adventure; thanks for sharing in my journey!
Well, thats all for now. Thanks Everybody!
